Professional Review: Pit and orchard fruits on the highly fragrant nose and palate. At once fleshy and focused, with very good cut and an undercurrent of chalky minerality. Closes firm and long, with resonating spiciness and a refreshing note of bitter quinine.
My Review: I believe this is the first Albarino I've tried, the "high end" grape of Spain. As the Vintage Cellar review mentioned, it was high fragrant on the nose and palate. I smelled lots of cool flowers/sugary fruits and a bit of flower on the taste. I got an intense burst of acid on the front palate, which disappeared quickly. There wasn't a lot on the finish. I had this wine at a tasting without a meal.
