Professional Review: Well-balanced flavors of dark berries and plums. Spicy fruit finish.
My Review: I got a dry tobacco, cider/evergreen, pine cone and for some odd reason, I got tons of okra on the nose, which I'm not sure if I'm a fan off. I was surprised, I didn't really get any specific oak/wood chips on the nose. On the palate, I once again got lots of okra and very light hints of cherry. Once again, no oak on the palate. I found this rather interesting because this is a Cab Sauv and I'm expecting lots of oak. It was light on tannins and was medium bodied. It ended with a great light finish. I had this wine at a tasting without a meal.
