Professional Review: The 2010 Legado Chardonnay Reserve is aged in French oak for 11 months. It has a light hazelnut scented bouquet with a touch of wild mushrooms. The palate is medium-bodied with a beeswax and spice infused entry, crisp acidity and a phenolic, slightly over-worked but still intriguing finish of dried pineapple and honeycomb.

My Review: Now this was an interesting white on the nose. I smelled the acid right off the bat but the smell of acid was over powered by very leafy vegetables. On the palate, this one was a disaster. It was too acidic, not balanced and did not have any body. It went down like water. I had this wine at a tasting without a meal.
