Professional Review: Deep purple color with violet tints, complex plum, fig, strawberry, spices and floral aromas; rounded and velvety tannins, excellent length with a distinguished character. Excellent when paired with game, roasted red meats, pasta or pizza.
My Review: I believe this is the third Maipe I've tried and the first Malbec from Maipe. I enjoy thing red as well. I got lots of florals and spices, a little bit of plum and fig/ever greens in there as well. Tannins were at a medium level which was great. It was sweet on the front, which disappeared on the mid and a great acidic, balanced finish. I had this wine at a tasting without a meal.
