Ryan Patrick Redhead Red

Name: Ryan Patrick Redhead Red
Variety: 88% Merlot, 10% Primitivo, 2% Malbec
Region: Washington
Country: USA
Year: 2012
Price: $10.95

Professional Review: Supple and succulent, with pretty cherry, pomegranate and spice flavors on a medium weight frame, lingering pleasantly. Merlot Primitivo and Malbec.

My Review: I believe this wine was similar to the previous one, the Familia Pacheco. It had a great spicy smell and was slightly too tannic on the palate. Once again, I wouldn't quiet consider this medium bodied; it was on the lighter side and had no finish. I had this wine at a tasting without a meal.
