Professional Review: Long notes as the champion grape of the Loire Valley, Chenin Blanc exhibits floral melon and tropical fruit characteristics which provide a spring board for seductive fruit forward wines that exhibit rich, mineral driven undertones of crisp acidity. Chenin Blanc is a delightful alternative to other white wines on the market and we believe it is time to reveal what Texas Chenin Blanc is all about. Introducing McPherson Cellars' first Dry Chenin Blanc: Discover a new world with this old world variety.

My Review: I got hints of minerals/wet stones, and a bit of fruity, acidic zest. I was surprised by this wine because it actually had some body. I tasted some honeyed/honeysuckle on the front palate and with was sharp, tartaric in the back. It had a great finish. This was a good white that would stand out from the competition. I had this wine at a tasting without a meal.
