Professional Review: This coupage of Monastrell and Syrah is dark red-maroon in color with a full body. Red berry aromas can be appreciated on the nose, with a slight touch of lactose and balsamic sensations. Familia Paco Pacheco Organic is a balanced, full-bodied, fresh wine enhanced by seasoned tannins and the reoccurring traced of ripe fruit.
My Review: Lots of spices and minerals on the nose. I got hints of stone and granite as well. It was a little high on tannin and slightly sharp even. Unfortunately it did not have any body or finish. I had this wine at a tasting without a meal.
