Professional Review: Greenish gold. Subtle aromas of mint, lemon and orange, with a hint of honeysuckle. Dry, understated and focused, offering clean citrus and melon flavors and slow-building sweetness. Finishes dry and brisk, with an echo of lemon. As usual, this is an outstanding value.
My Review: I got hints of citrus/lemon acids on the nose. On the palate I got lots of acids and minerals. This must have been one of the most acidic wines I've tasted in a long while. I can tell its fresh and that might have been what the wine maker was going for but I can easily this as something people might think has perhaps started to go bad and is getting a little too sharp. The amount of acidity was large enough to give it a medium body vs a light body which you might expect from a white. There was a good acidic finish. I had this wine at a tasting without a meal.
